To make an invigorating smell , you should press the blackberry for its juice. To make vinegar out of blackberry, clean the berries first and place in a covered non-aluminum container. Pour the apple cider or the malt and let them set for 3 days. Then strain it in cheesecloth or a strainer. Don’t force it though and let it drip on it’s own.
